microshading/POWDER/OMBRE BROWSMicroshading, sometimes called "Powder Brows," or "Ombre Brows" uses an electric single tip pen to create dots onto the brows with permanent ink, giving a soft powdery shading effect. Brows are more defined, structured and shapely.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
My brows are tattooed, and I would like you to do the touch up/correct them. Is this possible?
Unfortunately, do not touch up brows that were not initially done by me.
How Long Do Ombré Brows Last? :
The pigment is permanent, but will fade in darkness over time. Results do vary based on lifestyle, skin type, health, preferences, etc. Touch ups are recommended yearly.
When can I book an ombre brow appointment?
Ombre Brow appointments can be booked up to 90 days in advance. Visit Booksy.info/jomichellepro to choose a date and time that works for you. Deposit is required to book your appointment.
Are Ombre Brows the same as microblading?: Ombré (Powdered) Brows create pixelated dots to mimic powder filled brows. This shadow technique is minimally invasive and typically lasts longer than microblading. Microblading manually creates 3D hair like strokes using a microfine needle.
I have oily skin. Will my ombre brows last?:
Most brow appointments will need a touch up. In order to keep your eyebrow results looking fresh, we recommend booking your "Perfecting Appointment" (touch up) within 45-90 day of your initial appointment. Schedule yearly touch ups following your perfecting appointment. Touch ups are $200, and can be scheduled no sooner than 45 days after you initial appointment.
How long does the procedure take? :
Roughly 3 hours, sometimes more, sometimes less. Block out at least 3.5 hour window for your appointment. I will not need that much time, but don’t want to rush.
Will I need to take off from work? :
No, there is no downtime associated with the treatment. Redness and swelling will dissipate within an hour of the procedure. Your brows will appear darker initially, but this will not prevent you from your daily activities. Avoid direct sun exposure, pool water, excessive sweating for 14 days after treatment.
How long does it take to heal? :
It usually about 10 days for epithelial crust to form and fall off. Your skin underneath will be considered healed when this happens. Then the pigment takes time to settle into the skin and darkens gradually over the next 30 days. 45 days must pass before the procedure is considered complete.
Can you guarantee results?:
All clients skin may react to the trauma of tattooing differently. Some skin types push the foreign pigment out completely. The procedure is permanent. We will take time mapping your brows to ensure you love the shape and thickness before any permanent pigment is deposited.

AFTER CARE
Please be sure you read all the following instructions to assure the best results.
DO NOT USE:
Note: BROWS ARE APPROXIMATELY 20-25% DARKER AND WIDER THAN THEY WILL BE WHEN HEALED. AFTER THE TATTOO, YOUR SKIN IS RED, WHICH CAUSES THE COLOR TO APPEAR MORE PURPLE OR RED, THIS WILL FADE AFTER A DAY
DO NOT USE:
- RETIN-A/GLYCEROL ACIDS/PEROXIDE/NEOSPORIN WHILE HEALING
- DO NOT SCRUB OR PICK AT YOUR EYEBROW
- DO NOT EXPOSE AREA TO SUN OR TANNING BEDS FOR 10 DAYS
- AVOID ANY FACIALS, SWIMMING, STEAM ROOMS, WHIRL POOLS OR SAUNAS FOR 10 DAYS
- DO NOT EXERCISE THE FIRST 3-5 DAYS. NO HEAVY SWEATING.
- NO MAKEUP ON THE EYEBROWS UNTIL THE LAST SCAB FALLS OFF.
- Slight swelling, thickness, and/or redness for one or two days following the procedure.
- It is normal to lose approximately 30% of the color during the healing process.
- After the initial procedure, the color may look a shade too dark; in 14 days it will lighten 30-50%.
- It will appear softer when completely healed because the color will come from the dermal layer of the skin to the epidermal layer of the skin.
